​Carin and I are thrilled that you are interested in learning the amazing subject of Animal Self Healing. We have been teaching this course since 2017 and every year we have a wonderful time meeting new people and watching you explore this fascinating subject and, of course, we keep learning from you as well.

Something to look forward to this year - ​We are delighted to confirm that the 2022 zoopharmacognosy diploma enrolment is now open. We have finalised the dates for all the blocks and we are very excited to get going. The course details, dates and costs are explained in the download below. 

We want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to learn about this subject so if you are interested in learning with us and find the cost is the only obstacle then please contact us to discuss a personal plan. We don't want the cost to be the reason you don't get to learn something new.

Course dates

The course consists of 12 modules (blocks). The first six modules are the academic, learning stage and the second half of the course (modules 7 to 12 are predominantly practical modules). They are divided by a gateway assessment which every student wishing to progress to practitioner needs to complete.

Each module, 1 to 6, is 2 days long with a minimum of 4 weeks between blocks to allow for practical development and personal study.

Location

We are based in Chop Gate in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It is a beautiful place to study. We are renovating old barn buildings to become our purpose built classroom and utility buildings. Until they are finished the course will be based at our local and very quaint village hall, which is on the edge of Chop Gate. 
The village hall will be for our sole, private use and has grounds with ample car parking and inside it has toilets, full  kitchen facilities and a superb heating system (should the weather warrant it).
Our hall is situated at the end of a bridleway that leads up onto the moors for anyone who might fancy a stretch of the legs.

When you sign up for the course you will receive a welcome pack that has all the information you require from location plans and address to accommodation ideas and places to eat.
