The Natural Animal Sense "ASH" principles of practice
Every student is taught with the following principles of practice at the forefront of every study.
Adopt storage methods that restrict contamination of remedies
Store remedies in a cool dry place
Keep remedies out of sunlight
Duly follow a duty of care
Do not put remedies into food
Do not force a remedy onto an animal
Do not restrain an animal when offering natural remedies, they must be free to move or walk away
Always ensure fresh water is available
Seek professional advice prior to offering to cats
Do not mix remedies together (unless advised to by a qualified practitioner)
When offering to apply, or re-applying any remedy topically, always show to the nose of the animal what you have before offering to the body for application
